Since it was established in 2000, the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit has treated 40 adults and 15 children with cancer or bone marrow disorders. We have successfully transplanted autologous cells and allogeneic cord blood, peripheral blood and bone marrow cells, curing conditions including Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myelodisplastic Syndrome, Testicular Cancer, Aplastic Anemia, Fanconi Anemia and Sickle Cell Anemia.

We are accredited transplant centers for a range of professional bodies, which testify to the excellent standard of facilities and staff that we have to hand, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To date, we have primarily treated Mexican Nationals but due to the advances in bone marrow transplant success we are now extending our patient base to cater for medical tourists.

Our in-house facilities cater for the needs of both the patient and a companion, accommodating them in high quality rooms, all with an en-suite bathroom. Patients also have the option to spend the 3-6 month recovery period in a suite on the hospital site or an assisted living apartment located near to the hospital.

Estimates for the cost of bone marrow transplants in America reach up to $805,000, whereas at Bone Marrow Transplant Mexico you can receive full treatment, from consultation to full recovery, for around $200,000.

The success rates, patient testimonials and track record of all the Angeles Health Hospitals testify to the outstanding level of care, excellent patient services and world-class expertise that make our hospitals not just the first choice, but the only choice for medical tourists.
